Why would God allow Joseph, the beloved son of Jacob, to be the recipient of hatred, abandonment, slavery and false accusation?  The mistreatment and cruelty of a faithful son would cause us to wonder why a just God could allow something so unfair.

But it is important to remember that God works all things out for our good, even when they seem bad. Though the road of loneliness, rejection, despair and misunderstandings is difficult, it has a destination called triumph.
